Summer is one of the best times to discover Science with your kids. From birth children seek to discover and understand more about the world in which they live. Simple tools and ideas like those found in Mother Goose Time’s Science Lab help facilitate children’s ability to explore, create, and experiment within a safe and loving community.
This month Mother Goose Time encourages our little scientists to use the skills they already have and develop new ones! From exploring outside to learning more about how their favorite toys work, the kids are in for a wonderful and fun summer of learning!

Teacher Resources
Science Lab comes with teacher resources that make planning and executing a fun learning experience achievable and organized.
There is a separate teacher guide for each week of the program. The guides include all the instructions you need for daily activities and projects with book recommendations, play suggestions, and helpful skill building tips. A learning objectives and overview page gives a weekly pictorial summary of all the projects.
Daily Child Projects
“Science Lab” is jam packed with wonderful projects focused on community challenges, creative arts (invitations to create & make and play), small group math and literacy, and table top math and literacy.

Books and STEAM
We also have a whole new list of suggested books and outdoor and STEAM inspired play ideas.

Thematic Studies
It’s summer! So, we review all our core concepts including character traits, shapes, color, letters, and numbers. As an added bonus in Science Lab we get to experiment with chemistry, physics, engineering, and biology.
Music
The month’s musical selections are all science inspired.
We’ll be listening and dancing to “Too Hot to Touch” and “Wind Moves Me.”
We’ll be moving and grooving to Dancing in the Science Lab!
Add-Ons
We will also be learning about “The Miracles of Jesus” with “God Is the Healer” from Experience God (Christian curriculum add-on).
The toddler is always included thanks to the Little Goose Program (toddler supplement).
We will also be adding “More Reading and Writing“and “More Math,” as part of Mother Goose Time’s prek and kindergarten enrichment program.
