This month Mother Goose Time is giving us a chance to learning about Camping!
We’re looking forward to learning number rhymes, character rhymes, little rhymes, and food rhymes.
The kids and I are really looking forward to all the monthly themes for 2017-2018!

- Planning Guide – an easy to use week at a glance calendar with a monthly overview of all the projects.
- Gathering List – any unusual items are easy to review on a one page sheet.
- Little Goose – a toddler supplement (additional 18.00) helps adapt the daily activities for my toddler.
Daily Child Projects
“Camping” is jam packed with wonderful projects including several invitations to create and make and play activities.
We’ll be creating projects inspired by bears, pine cones, and crackling fires. We’ll be playing games like “Scare the Bear” and “Word Fishing.” We will also be making a trail map and creating our very own backpack.
A quick pictorial overview of the daily projects and art included in this month is shown below. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see the finished projects 🙂
Calendar and Daily Activities
Cooking up a campfire snack, going on a raccoon themed scavenger hunt, and creating our very own river are just a few of the fun activities we are looking forward to this month.
Each day we will learn about a fun and important aspect of camping before enjoying related activities.
We also have a whole new list of suggested books and outdoor and STEAM inspired play ideas.
We’ll be sure to share some of our favorites on Facebook and Instagram!
Manipulatives
Each month comes with thematic manipulatives. This month, 3-D Shapes and magnifying glass are included.
These manipulatives are used in several of the Mother Goose Time activities and we are most looking forward to using them to play a game called “Raccoon Thief” and to create “Tent Shapes”.
