We are headed into outer space with our theme based preschool program from Mother Goose Time. Blast Off to Space has some out of this world projects focusing on early literacy, mathematics, and creative arts. There are also some fantastic community challenges that reinforce teamwork and encourage group play.
The kids and I are really looking forward to all the monthly themes for 2018!

There is a separate teacher guide for each week of the program. The guides include all the instructions you need for daily activities and projects with book recommendations, play suggestions, and helpful skill building tips. A learning objectives and overview page gives a weekly pictorial summary of all the projects.

Manipulatives

These manipulatives are used in several of the Mother Goose Time activities and we are most looking forward to using them with our “Constellation Designs” and “Building Comets and Stars”.
Music
The month’s musical selections are Electric Pop-Inspired Children’s Music.
We’ll be listening and dancing to “Gravity Pulls Me Down” and “93 Million Miles.”
We’ll be moving and grooving to Dancing in Space!
***The music CD is included with the monthly curriculum purchase. Dance n’Beats is an optional dance and fitness program.
Celebration Kit
This month also includes a celebration kit for Easter.
We’ll be playing”Easter Charades” and creating a “Bunny Finger Puppets.”
There are also some fabulous ideas for holiday snacks and exploration stations!
