We are headed into outer space with our theme based preschool program from Mother Goose Time. Blast Off to Space has some out of this world projects focusing on early literacy, mathematics, and creative arts. There are also some fantastic community challenges that reinforce teamwork and encourage group play.
The kids and I are really looking forward to all the monthly themes for 2018!
Week 1: Space from Earth
Week 2: Rock Planets
Week 3: Giant Planets
Week 4: Exploring Space
Blast Off to Space comes with teacher resources that make planning and executing a fun learning experience achievable and organized.
There is a separate teacher guide for each week of the program. The guides include all the instructions you need for daily activities and projects with book recommendations, play suggestions, and helpful skill building tips. A learning objectives and overview page gives a weekly pictorial summary of all the projects.

Calendar and Daily Activities
We also have a whole new list of suggested books and outdoor and STEAM inspired play ideas.
Each month comes with thematic manipulatives. This month, pattern blocks and star counters are included.
These manipulatives are used in several of the Mother Goose Time activities and we are most looking forward to using them with our “Constellation Designs” and “Building Comets and Stars”.
The month’s musical selections are Electric Pop-Inspired Children’s Music.
We’ll be listening and dancing to “Gravity Pulls Me Down” and “93 Million Miles.”
***The music CD is included with the monthly curriculum purchase. Dance n’Beats is an optional dance and fitness program.
This month also includes a celebration kit for Easter.
We’ll be playing”Easter Charades” and creating a “Bunny Finger Puppets.”
We will also be learning about “Jesus is Tempted in the Wilderness” with “God Is The Only God,” from Experience God (Christian curriculum add-on).
The toddler is always included thanks to the Little Goose Program (toddler supplement).
We will also be adding “More Reading and Writing“and “More Math,” as part of Mother Goose Time’s prek and kindergarten enrichment program.
We hope you’ll join us as we “Blast Off to Space!”
